Once you have Design Space installed, you can start creating projects. To create a new project, click on the "New Project" button in the top left corner of the screen. You can then choose from a variety of templates or start from scratch.

Creating Custom Designs

If you want to create your own custom designs, you can use the Design Space drawing tools. The drawing tools are located in the toolbar on the left side of the screen. You can use the drawing tools to create shapes, lines, and text.

Once you have created your design, you can save it to your computer or mobile device. You can then cut your design using your Cricut machine.

Cutting Materials

Cricut machines can cut a variety of materials, including paper, cardstock, vinyl, and fabric. To cut a material, you will need to select the correct blade for your material. You can find the correct blade for your material in the Design Space software.

Once you have selected the correct blade, you can load your material onto the cutting mat. Make sure that your material is securely adhered to the cutting mat. You can then insert the cutting mat into your Cricut machine and start cutting.

Assembling Your Projects

Once you have cut your materials, you can assemble your projects. You can use glue, tape, or other adhesives to assemble your projects. You can also use the Cricut EasyPress to heat-bond your projects.

With a little practice, you'll be able to create beautiful projects with your Cricut machine. This beginner's guide has given you the basics of using Design Space and creating projects. For more information, please visit the Cricut website or consult the Design Space help documentation.
